This January, young artists from across the country are taking over the halls in our nation’s capital. By bringing art to Washington, D.C., at a pivotal moment in American political history, artists will put a human face to an issue that determines the future of their generation. To command the attention of lawmakers and people in town for the Presidential Inauguration, students are invited to enter a national art contest to promote children’s healthcare, from which 50 entries will be selected to be featured at exhibits in D.C.’s Union Station and a Congressional office building. The deadline to join in this venture has been extended to Monday, December 1, 2009.
